For visitors bringing their own craft to this beautiful part of the world the friendly boat yard staff are here to help make your time afloat a straightforward and enjoyable experience. We provide moorings on Gillan Creek, good launching facilities and large dinghy and trailer parks at St. Anthony. There is easy access to the whole of Falmouth Bay as well as the Helford River.

The boatyard at St. Anthony offers permanent and visitors’ moorings, and full lay-up and repair facilities for craft up to 4 tons. There is a general small boat chandlery which also stocks top quality sailing and summer wear. The car park is close to the beach and pontoon.

Please note that there is a speed restriction of 6 knots throughout Gillan Creek and the upper parts of the Helford River. There are oyster beds up river from Port Navas as well as in a new area west of the Voose buoy, and also eel grass beds off the beaches on the north side of entrance the Helford. Care must be taken not to anchor or ground in these areas. Water skiing is possible in a large area of the entrance of the river, as well as in Falmouth Bay.

We regret that dive boats and jet skis are not accepted. There are excellent dive facilities available at Porthkerris Divers.
